Adventure, positivity, passion, laughter, and happiness are qualities I value in life. I ensure that my kiddos are experiencing at least one of those aspects each time they receive occupational therapy services.

I am a graduate from Milligan College in East Tennessee with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT). Prior to obtaining my MSOT, I graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Throughout my journey as an Occupational Therapist, I have worked in various settings including pediatrics, Level 1 trauma, neuro-rehabilitation, school, and community mental health. However, pediatrics has always been my passion and main focus.

Additionally, I dedicated time as president of a non-profit organization in Johnson City, TN for a year, gaining experience as a leader and community health advocate, and served as vice chair of Tennessee Occupational Therapy Association Mental Health Committee.

I currently hold my Florida occupational therapy license, Louisiana occupational therapy license, and certified through the National Board of Occupational Therapy. I have completed advanced education courses in feeding therapy (sensory, oral-motor and anxiety), DIRFloortime, Eating Disorders, Autism, Developmental Delays, Physical Agent Modalities (PAMS), and Kinesio Taping. I am excited to provide therapeutic services involving Kinesio Taping, as it is proven to improve upper extremity control and function in pediatrics in a rehabilitation setting. I personally have observed significant improvement with the use of Kinesio Tape on clients with cerebral palsy, essential tremors, and circulatory dysfunction.

Adventure is a way to explain my journey in life this far, which I want each kid to experience. Every session with each kid is a unique adventure; it’s full of laughter, positivity, challenges, excitement, and passion. It can be challenging, but it will always be rewarding and fulfilling. I want them and their families to leave each session with happiness and confidence. I look forward to each and every adventure that I encounter with all my clients and kiddos.
