I have been working as a pediatric Occupational Therapist for five years. I received my Bachelor of Health Science degree from The University of Florida in 2012 and my Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2014. As an Occupational Therapist, my focus has always been pediatrics. I have worked in a variety of different settings, including hospital outpatient pediatric clinics, aquatic therapy, and schools.
I am committed to providing the highest level of care that I can. I value learning and I have completed several continuing education courses covering a number of topics that I believe will help me serve the clients and families that I am lucky enough to work with. I hold my Florida Occupational Therapy License and I am certified through the National Board of Occupational Therapy. I have extensive Sensory Integration training and arousal modulation training related to Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder and Movement Disorders. I received my USC/WPS Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT) Certification in June of 2015. In addition, I received specialized training for Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), The Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding and I am a Handwriting Without Tears Level 1 Specialist. I have completed advanced education courses in DIR/Floortime Model, Primitive Reflex Integration, Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention and Anxiety Disorders and Adolescents.
I love making a difference. There is no better gift than seeing a child’s huge smile or watching a child experience pure joy when they reach a new developmental milestone. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and your child.
